Thyroid Biopsies

Fine-Needle Aspiration biopsies of thyroid nodules are done under Ultrasound guidance at our office.  The procedure involves getting a sample of the thyroid nodule in the front of the neck using a very small needle that is inserted under ultrasound guidance.  The procedure is very safe and has an extremely low risk of bleeding, trauma, or infection.
