I received my master’s degree in nursing, from Frontier Nursing University. I received two bachelor’s degrees, one in nursing and the other in family, human and child development from Arizona State University. I was a nurse for 9 years prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, as a nurse I worked in multiple areas which included pediatric home health, telemetry, medical-surgical ICU, trauma neuro ICU and labor and delivery. I received my CCRN which is a critical care certification. I chose the field of nursing to help care for others. In my free time I love camping with my family and watching my three kids play sports.
