Dr Devendra Wadwekar, MD ECNU FACP

Board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Wadwekar treats all areas of adult endocrinology with a special interest in thyroid disorders. Dr. Wadwekar attended medical school at BJ Medical College at Gujarat University. Dr. Wadwekar completed his internal medicine residency at University of Iowa and then completed an Endocrinology Fellowship with University of Utah. He has been in practice in the East Valley for over 10 years. Dr. Wadwekar enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his wife and two sons

Dr. Abhilasha Singh, MD

Dr. Abhilasha Singh offers care in all areas of adult endocrinology including transgender care. Dr. Singh graduated medical school from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College in Pune, India, and completed internal medicine residency at Medstar Health, Baltimore. She then completed endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism fellowship with the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City. Dr. Singh enjoys spending her time with family and friends and is passionate about painting and hiking.

Dr. Deepika Panday, MD

Dr. Panday specializes in adult endocrinology with expertise in newer diabetes technologies including pumps and continuous glucose monitors. I completed medical school from Government Medical college Kolhapur, India and further completed residency in Internal Medicine from Saint Vincent hospital, Worcester, Massachusetts. I then completed fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from University of Arizona Phoenix. In my free time, I like spending time with my kids Kabir and Raghav and also enjoy cooking and travelling.

Julia Gitau, FNP

Julia Gitau is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. Julia received her doctorate degree in nursing from Oklahoma City University. She is passionate about improving patient’s health and committed to providing high quality care. In her spare time she enjoys music, cooking, yoga and spending time with family.

 

Jenna Sturgeon, FNP

Jenna Sturgeon received her bachelors & her master’s degrees in nursing from Brigham Young University. She is passionate about good chronic disease management and health promotion. She decided to become a nurse practitioner after working as a nurse in the ICU where she cared for patients with complications of chronic conditions which could have been prevented. She is excited to be working in endocrinology helping patients to improve their health and live their best lives–outside of the hospital. Her hobbies include running and gardening (when the weather is nice in Arizona) as well as spending her time with her husband, 5 children and 17 chickens.

Lindsey Johnson, FNP

I received my master’s degree in nursing, from Frontier Nursing University. I received two bachelor’s degrees, one in nursing and the other in family, human and child development from Arizona State University. I was a nurse for 9 years prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, as a nurse I worked in multiple areas which included pediatric home health, telemetry, medical-surgical ICU, trauma neuro ICU and labor and delivery. I received my CCRN which is a critical care certification. I chose the field of nursing to help care for others. I decided to pursue my master’s degree to continue to increase my knowledge and be able to care for those throughout the lifespan through a holistic approach including preventative care and to help manage chronic conditions. In my free time I love camping with my family and watching my three kids play sports.

Kathia Jusino Suarez, PA

Kathia Jusino Suarez is a Physician Assistant with a strong background in medicine and clinical research. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Puerto Rico.
Her early experience volunteering at the VA Medical Center in San Juan, PR, sparked her passion for patient care. Since then, she has worked in family medicine, pathology, and clinical research, including specialized training in metabolic-associated liver disease.
Kathia is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life and managing chronic conditions.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, as well as cooking and traveling.

Leeroy Zhang, PA

I hold a Master of Medical Science (MMS) in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences & Psychology. With a strong foundation in both the biological and psychological aspects of health, I specialize in managing a variety of conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormone-related issues. My approach to patient care is centered on providing clear, compassionate support—ensuring that each patient feels informed, confident, and actively involved in their care plan.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my cats and finding balance in life through a mix of relaxation and adventure. My goal is always to make you feel like a partner in your own healthcare journey.
